Thread: Angel fans are hooligans

Of course your assuming they were Angel fans. I heard quite a few A's fans at the game but of course no you automatically figure it has to be Angel fans with no concrete proof.

And any Dodger fan calling Angel fans hooligans is the pot calling the kettle black.

I haven't been to Angel Stadium this season yet, but from reading Angel boards... I've read that things have been getting out of hand lately at the Budweiser Patio in Right Field. There have been fights for 2 out of 3 home games so far to start the season. Which is too much, of course.

And yes, unfortunately, they were instigated by A's fans. I've read that A's fans just yell out "(Bleep) the Angels!" and that's all it takes, apparently.

Every single team has their hooligan fans. Some more than others, but in all cases it is the small minority of the fans that ruin the good times.

Hey we took our flack for the shooting in the Dodger Stadium parking lot, take your medicine and move on.

I wouldn't call that "instigated by A's fans". I'd call that drunk idiots who have nothing better to do looking for an excuse to fight. Come on, fighting over "Bleep the Angels!"? Fans of other teams yell things at games all the time, that alone isn't a reason to be looking for a fight. Had an A's fan pushed an Angels fan or something like that, then yeah, that might be instigated by A's fans.

I still don't know how people can afford to drink at sporting events anyways.

A) I said "if." Didn't see the thread until after the Adenhart death.

B) Both are "unfortunate incidents" where someone died. Hardly an opportunity to rip on a fan base or chuckle.

Once upon a time, at a stadium in Chavez Ravine... a fan was shot... and Angel fans made many jokes. THE END Don't throw stones if you don't want them thrown back.

Give me a good reason not to rip them.
