Angels, Abreu agree to two-year deal

The Angels Thursday agreed to a two-year deal with a club option for 2012 with veteran outfielder Bobby Abreu.
Abreu, 35, joined the Angels on a one-year deal just before the start of Spring Training last season and enjoyed yet another productive campaign. He batted .293 with 96 runs, 29 doubles, three triples, 15 home runs, 103 RBI and 30 stolen bases in 152 games.

Angels finally realized that if you wanna do good, you need to pony up some more dough.
A few weeks ago, the Angels only wanted to increase their 5 mil/year offer to 6-7 only.

Good signing, with Vlade probably leaving, you can rotate Abreau as OF and DH.

The Angels did very well by resigning Bobby Abreau.
