Would be a little better i think. Hunter hitting in front of Vlad would mean alot of fastballs to Hunter and some serious production.

Putting Figgins in the 9th spot puts speed and production through out and opposing pitchers won't have a break.

Putting your two lowest OBP guys in the #1 and #2 spots in the order might not be the best fit. Mathews and Hunter would be better off lower in the order, maybe Hunter 6th and Mathews 9th

Figgins and Willits should be at the top of the lineup, and The Angels should be making Mathews trade offers the same way the Dodgers should be shopping Pierre.

Mathews has a no trade clause so that won't be easy.

Says he has a partial no trade clause. So it's not that bad, and I'm not sure Matthews will veto anything that gets him more playing time.

We'll see though.
