    Yeek, he just pitched the other day against my A's. I'm not an Angels fan, but I offer Adenhart's family my condolences.

    And I'm not really sure why someone always has to bring it up in these threads. Yes, we're aware these happen every day to all types of people, each one equally sad, and there's no punishment to equal what the low-life drunk drivers deserve. Some of them, however, hit a little closer to home because some of us here are baseball and/or Angels fans and were aware of who Adenhart was. Same with the Luc Bourdon situation last year. Nobody is saying his death is more significant than any other. Let others express their condolences how they see fit.

    The girl driving the car Adenhart was in was a 20 year old girl from Diamond Bar.

    The driver is 22 years old with a history of DUI and quite possibly a suspended license. This kid just made the biggest mistake of his life.

    What a waste.

    That kid worked his ass off to make it to the show at 22. I heard he was a real nice, shy kid. This whole thing makes me sick.

    Just heard on ESPN that the guy that hit Adenharts car had a prior DUI, and if he got in any type of accident again under the influence he could be charged with murder.

    I heard that too. I really hope they charge him to the fullest extent. A**hole got out of his van and ran away. He needs to be taught a major lesson.
