Thread: Angels Ticket Prices go up.

Holy crap. I'm pissed now.



The Tier 2 games are for Opening Day, Red Sox, Yankees, Dodgers, and 4th of July.

Right Field Pavilion used to be 12 bucks there. Up to 16 bucks now... 21 if it's a "big" game.

I usually sit in the View MVP section, which is 16 bucks before. Now it's 18 bucks each seat. Then you gotta add on the raping fee from TicketMaster.

Anyone know if Ebay Auctions are still available? Since their TicketFast system for all MLB teams seem to be switching to Stubhub, which sucks too... because Stubhub rips you off as well.

I guess with all the Kings games I'm attending, I'll cut back my Angels attendance from 10-20 games a year to like... 3-5. =\

That sucks man. I haven't been going to as many games the past couple of seasons. This two tier system sucks major ass. On the brightside...Craigs List is a great place to find cheap tix especially on game day. I guess I'll be utilizing that much more now.

My ignorance BLOOMS when it comes to MLB, but don't you guys have a team worth watching out there? The Royals tickets keep going up... every season... horrible team and the ticket prices are higher SOME doubling what the Angels are charging. It could be worse.

How's the less expensive beer now? Does it make up for the ticket prices?

That's why you buy tickets at the stadium... That way, TicketMaster can't get their meaty little paws on you.

Well, yeah, I mean, the Angels have to pay Orange County, AND L.A. County taxes, since they are the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim...

The Angels are arguably a World Series contender. However, when dealing with ticket prices they have much more competition than Kansas City does for their entertainment dollar. All KC has is the Royals and the Chiefs. Out here it's just so many teams both college and pro and not to mention all the other entertainment options.

Also, it's the rate at which Angels ticket prices have gone up. Sure, one can definitely expect to pay price increase but the same ticket I paid $16 a game for 10 years ago is now going for 5 times that? It's a joke.
