I thought he did okay. A few too many questions like "Why would XXXXXX do XXXXXX, Steve?" which can get annoying for us that have played and/or watched the game for too long but I'm willing to give him a while to feel it out.

As much as I enjoy listening to Steiner go ape**** when the Dodgers rally & make a comeback... I'm not a fan of his pbp. So, at least this guy provides some potential as the (sadly) eventual replacement for Vinny whenever Vinny decides to enjoy the Dodger games outside his booth.

I dunno, the new guy sounded like he had cotton stuffed up both nostrils and was standing 10 feet from the mic tonight. I also thought he left a lot of dead air. Of course, I didn't mind Steiner at all, so hopefully this guy will grow on me.

Already going to Broxton in the 8th and we are in the third week of april. Pen is going to be an issue this year.

I thought the same thing. That's twice that Torre's done that to Brox. Let's hope that's the last. I don't want his arm burnt out by the All-Star break.

Billz was money and i'm guess i'm in the minority in liking Steiner. I for one like his enthusiasm and his call when the dodgers hit the four home runs back to back was awesome. Vin is the best but its always nice to hear Steiner go "Ape****" over a Manny hr or a good play. He does a good job with Monday announcing the game.

Steiner tends to go ape**** and then have absolutely nothing happen. I swear I think his depth perception is shot, because he goes nuts ever time someone hits a fly ball to the edge of the warning track. It's one thing to call it like you know its gone when you really do know its a home run, but to call it like that only to have a normal catch made on the ball by the opposing team's outfielder...well...that's a little bit like the boy crying wolf. It gets really old, really quick.

yeah i know where your coming from so i guess to each his own. Vin back on tonight since its an NL West team.
