Per ESPN, AROD is looking for 350 million, also in the same article it says the Dodgers are not like ly to pursue him.
It will be interesting to see what team signs the guy for that kind of jack. CRAZY what this guy can get out there!

people are starving in New York
Ya, I heard last night that he wants a 10 or 12 year deal.
Here is the article.
ESPN
i guess it becomes a question of whether you want Bonds' questionable home run record broken in your park or not.
$ 30.00 parking here we come.
I think that and the extra revenue that he brings in is truly the question you have to ask yourself.
I listened to an interview with Boras and he quoted Forbes magazine that did an article on Rodriguez and the revenue that he brings with him. The article supposedly states that A-Rod generates an extra $50M in revenue per year by himself through additional ticket sales, merchandise, and TV ratings.
IF that's the case, it makes his demands much more justifiable no matter how insane they sound.
But 10-12 years at $350? Jesus H, that's insane.
That knocks the teams who are interested to about 5.
$350,000,000 over 12 is not bad for A-Rod. It's what he was pursuing this entire time. Still, paying a 44 year old ballplayer $30,000,000 a season is ****ing ridiculous for ANY BODY.

Does Boras really thing someone will pony up that much? I just can't see it happening.
