Manny is just tearin' it up.
If he just continues to tear it up for these 2 months, Ned and the McCourts are going to feel the pressure to resign him...which will be very very expensive.

That ball would need to take about seven ninety degree turns in the outfield because Manny ain't making that on a straight shot down the line or to the gaps.
EDIT: Manny's had one triple per season the past four seasons, including this season, so he's already hit is quota for this year.

Yeah, I mean... if Manny helps bring LA a ring, it'll be awfully difficult to say no. I just hope McCourt doesn't give Ned enough rope to get us into a deal going past 3 years and going upwards of $18M.
Even if Manny's offense will only continue to go down and his defense might hurt the Dodgers, it's such a sight for sore eyes to see The Dodgers get some star power again.
Oh, and if he IS going to re-sign, NOT before Ned does something with Andruw. And if Andruw finishes the year under the mendoza line... he should f'n retire.
"Joe Torre said that though Juan Pierre is in the lineup tonight, nothing is permanent and that he's not burying Andre Ethier. He'll play here and there and Joe has yet to figure out exactly how it will play out."
