Just exactly how many bases loaded 0 or 1 out situations are the Dodgers going to completely blow on this road trip?
Unbelievable. What a pile of suck this team is right now.
11 hits so far - 0 runs.

Wowwww.... very little posting tonight. Then again, there was very little that was post-worthy.
Lots of hits, little... well, make that no scoring.
This team keeps reminding me of the Korean groundskeepers in "Major League" when they say (in subtitles) "They're ****ty."
Well they were 4-0 against Philly in Chavez Latrine, and now 0-4 against them in Philly... you know who they are? Even Steven.
**Edit** D-backs up 2-1.

I predict a 2-and-8 road trip and six games back of the D-backs by the time they get back home.
Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Bullets are cheap. Life is priceless.
No matter how much I (more and more) want that to happen, I don't think it will. And if it does, I don't think it will happen before the end of the season.
But if McCourt is considering it, he'd better do it ASAP after the end of the season, and he'd better replace him with Logan White. Anything later than that is a waste of an off-season, and anyone other than that is yet another exercise in futility.

And what does everyone think the off-season priorities should be in terms of FA talent and trades?
My list (in no particular order of importance):
1) Re-sign Manny. Give him what he wants. That bat is worth it.
2) Re-sign Furcal to a deal no longer than two years (who's a a better option in the 2009 FA class? No one...even with Raffy's injuries).
3) Get rid of Pierre in a package deal (maybe with Repko/some other guy at that level) for minor-league prospects (pitchers, if able)
4) Say "Adios!" to Jeff Kent. Teach DeWitt to play second base.
5) Pitching: Re-sign two of Lowe, Penny, and Beimel. Cut Schmidt loose unless he displays remarkable recovery within the next eight to ten weeks. Find a legit fifth starter. (Personally, I'd like to see Lowe stay.)
Whoever is going to be GM for this club after this season has some serious work cut out for him.

How much is coming off the books? These rumors of the McCourts penny pinching is a bit concerning. It looks like they don't they're not comfortable being at the 120+ mil range. Resigning Manny will cost 20 mil per, so that takes up a lot of money that can be spent.
I'm not sure about Furcal, another 10 million so he can spend the year on the dl? Maybe for one year, he needs to prove he can stay healthy for one year.
We need pitching, we have no front line starters and resigning Manny, we might have to settle for less again...
