I'm fine with Broxton. He hasn't pitched in awhile, probably why he wasn't too sharp, but he has been pretty damn good this year.

The fact that SD is pretty terrible probably has something to do with it. He has a club option at 9 million they can exercise but they probably think they can get something of value for him. Not really that surprising.

If you consider what Towers had said about what Giles would command, I'm surprised they would have made the move after not making much of an attempt trading him before the deadline.
