Horrible, just horrible.
Horrible, just horrible.
I think Rick Monday summed up my feelings pretty nicely...
Dodgers looked lethargic all trip long. The Giants, quite frankly, do not fear the Dodgers. Neither do the Cardinals. The meat of the Cards' lineup just feasted on Dodger pitching in the first two games and Kershaw was the only one to back them off the plate and throw inside. Then, last night -- Broxton basically serves it up. Today, Manny gets drilled in the head... and nothing. No response. No retaliation. Not to Wynn. Not to Rowand. No one. Not even a pitch inside. Boy, that's comfort level for you. And in the 9th inning, the usual suspects came up to the plate sitting back on it waiting for something to drill and they did. And that's pitiful.
If it weren't for the fact that we're only 1.5 back (2 back after tomorrow's game, for sure), I'd already be done with this team. It better get its ****ing act together already. I don't dig Torreball.
Dodgers should have taken 2 of 3 in STL. And should have swept the AAA Giants. This road trip really f**cking pisses me off.
Natural, I was thinking the same thing when Manny got drilled. Next Giant batter should have been drilled no question. Buncha pussies.
New players, same ****ing team. They showed what they really are this road trip... a .500 team lucky to be in a garbage division.

It's a moot point but the Dodgers are once again below .500.
And if you go to Dodgers.com, you'll find this...
Seeing that and knowing that we did nothing... sick.
"You want to lash out and say something, but that's a rash decision to come out and say something," Ethier said. "I could have been emotional and rash and said something, but I took a step back. You know your place and know your role."

Translation: Dear Whappe, STFU.
Anyone see that douchebag Midgets fan try and douse Ethier with their beer on that last ball he fielded in the corner? Vin didn't say anything about it on TV, but it was plain as day...flying out of the stands. Missed him by like fifteen feet, and Andre just sort of stood there and looked at the moron after throwing the ball in.
Way to go, drunk guy. Water the grass with your $11 beer.
