    I don't like the trade much either but i don't know much about this Proctor guy so i hope i end up being on the good side of this deal

    Didn't Betemit go something like 3 for 4 with 3 doubles in his first game as a Dodger? I wouldn't read too much into it...

    I don't know Mitchy...Proctor arm is just about spaghetti right now...Joe abused him out of the pen. If the Dodgers give him about a month off, he will be fine, but right now, you will be hard pressed to find a reliever who has pitched more innings over the last 2 years aside from Proctor.

    Besides...Bruney stole his job, and they will call up Joba Chamberlain (yes, the reason why Mariano is still not signed) in September...possibly earlier. The kid throws 98 WITH control!

    It doesn't take a month off to recover from being tired.

    Unless he's injured in some way, as long as he's not continuously overused, he'll be fine.
