Thread: Dodgers are blowing it

Well the Dodgers started very well, but now it looks like they'll be lucky to be in the playoffs. I'm a Dodger fan, but being a way bigger Kings fan, I feel guilty wanting the Dodgers to choke so then once October is here, I can just focus on the Kings and hockey.

There's plenty of baseball left and take a look at who the Dodgers play. It's not exactly the toughest home stretch...

The Dodgers are regaining their footing after slipping a bit lately, and it doesn't help that the Rockies are unbelievably hot right now (9-1 in their last 10). But to say the Dodgers will be lucky to reach the playoffs? Even if they lose the division lead, they still have a healthy 5 game or so lead in the wildcard race.

As for actually hoping they choke? How dare ye.

Oh, also, the Dodgers have won 3 of their last 4, 5 of their last 8, and 9 of their last 14. So...FAIL.

Manny is starting to swing the bat well, Ethier has been on a tear...and even Loney has been looking better. Our middle of the lineup is starting to heat up at the right time.

Our starting pitching though...has to improve.

Dodgers are fine. They are just running out of gas. Manny looks great. Now I know he did not do steroids.

The Rockies are playing unbelievable. That's the bottom line. Any other division and the Dodgers are sitting pretty. My only worry is Billingsley. His performance lately has been horrible.
