Dodgers Headed Back to KABC!!!!!

I'm just happy that I don't have to deal with the crappy reception of KFWB. Anybody know if KABC sends out a better signal? It can't get much worse than KFWB.

KABC has a good signal here in OC.

Agreed. Occasionally, I'll get a bad signal but its not for an extended period. But this is good news.

I live in Thousand Oaks. I hear that they have a unidirectional broadcast or something like that so the radio feed sucks as you go North. Sometimes it's clear but as night hits, the station steadily gets worse. It's horrible!

its better than KFWB, but i was hoping they would go to the only other sports-only station in the area. Dodger talk being interrupted every few mins with traffic/weather/news updates is really annoying.

Back to KABC 790, eh? They gonna re-hire Ross Porter and get rid of the douchebag Steiner?

Then I don't care where they are on the radio dial. But I'm glad it helps out some folks that have so-so reception listen to their favorite ball team on the radio.

Never had a problem with 980. I got good reception on it from OC all the way down to SD when I made the drive. The only place it didn't come in clear was out in the IE (which I rarely visit). Don't care about the move unless 790 doesn't come in clear in OC.

Weak signal in Upland/Claremont area for 980. KABC is a lot better.

so no one else minds the constant news/weather/traffic interruptions?
