Also read on ESPN that Marcus Giles was put on waivers by the Pads, wouldn't mind having him if Kent retires. He didn't hit as well as he did in Atlanta but maybe it was just an off year. Abreu hasn't sold me yet...

Or maybe it was 'roids. His numbers have declined considerably the last four seasons. We have young/cheap players to plug in there also.

Torre works... now all we need is some offense.
