Can't help but think a few years ago everybody was penciling in Edwin Jackson and Greg Miller as future aces.

It's an interesting dilemma. You would think adding a 24 year old guy with Cabrera's track record would be a slam dunk. Even if the prospects did pan out, you could at least say "Well, at least we still have Miguel Cabrera."

Ken Griffey
Frank Robinson
Orlando Cepeda
and a few other no names...
