Good to see Mariano back. He's the only one on the field that gets ejected once in a while!

    Plus, Peavy's his bitch.

Colletti is standing firm in his desire to not give up the farm.

There's some good shizzle here, boys:

Well, they're only about a year late in figuring this out.

I wonder what 'deal' Ned thought he had in place and why the other team got cold feet.

Colletti's been that way since day one, so I imagine you're referring to the media.

Thing is (as the article stated) that the "prospects" Florida seems to want are actually major-leaguers now.

    Play the kids, Ned.

My question is what players Ned and the other gm had agreed to. I want to know what the Dodgers offer was. We'll probably never know.

    Riverside Press

    Schmidt to Start Throwing

Jason Schmidt was cleared to begin a throwing program to test his surgically repaired shoulder, and he is scheduled to begin tossing a baseball next week in Arizona where he resides.

It would mark the first significant step in Schmidt's rehabilitation three months after an exploratory procedure revealed a torn labrum, scarred tissue in the bursa and a frayed biceps tendon.

Totally agree. I know we've all echoed the same sentiments... The Marlin's are just asking for way to much.
