And don't forget SP James McDonald, who was named (over Kershaw) as the minor league pitcher of the year.
It's be hard to find another team with young talent to match the Dodgers, even if Kemp, Kershaw, and LaRoche are all dealt.
We'd still have pitchers (SP -Bills, McDonald, RP-Meloan, Broxton) along with potential or already starting players at C (Martin), 1B (Loney), 2B (Abreu), SS (Hu, then Mattingly), and OF (Ethier, Young).
I think we can risk a couple young players for an established 3B superstar bat that is under 25.
Homegrown talent is great, but we don't need a homegrown prospect at every position.
