Plus, he was great on Desperate Housewives.

Thanks! not JUST that but he's the the highest ranked pitcher in general!! which makes these stupid ****ing rumors out of this world.....what was that one rumor where some team wanted us to toss in Kershaw to sweeten the pot? was it the marlins or twins? anyway......toss in??? hahahhaha
Look at who is ranked #4 and #8 in 2004.

I'm just as high as anyone of you are on Kershaw, but top prospect lists aren't exactly the most accurate predictor of major league success.
Again I'm high on Kershaw, but some of you guys seem to think he's Sandy Koufax already.
It's not that I think he's Koufax or ever will be, I just want to see the Dodgers grow an ace of their own.....and we will never see that happen if we keep trading thenm away. I know about the busts and all, but Kershaw is NOT jackson or tiffany or greg miller, so just cause they tanked doesn't mean Kershaw will either. Plus, its quantity AND quality which we would be giving up for 1 quality player. It's ridiculous, the orioles are asking for the same as the fish for Bedard (kemp, kershaw, laroche AND loney) no way in hell I do that even If Kershaw does become a bust. I've seen this kid pitch, and hes lights out. Great command, great stuff, and great poise. I am confident he will blossom.
Edwin Jackson's problems seem to be more mental than physical.
How do you know? Before Jackson and Miller had their problems they were just as highly touted as Keshaw. Hell by this time already Jackson had started in the majors already.
Are you in the GM meetings? I've heard or read anything that suggest that the Orioles are asking for the same type of package that the Marlins want. Hell we don't even know what the Marlins want.Quote:

Again you never know with pitching prospects or any prospect for that matter, Kershaw could blow out his arm in spring and never be the same. That's what Miller went through. With Miguel Cabrera I know what I'm getting.
Then look at 2000

7 out of the top 10 have been busts. Again you never know with prospects. I'm just as high on Kershaw as the next guy, but I'm not going to kill myself if he gets dealt.
speaking of Greg Miller he got lit up in winter ball - 6 GS, 0-3, 12.79 ERA, 3.08 WHIP
