No to Cameron. The Dodgers already have 1 overpaid CF taking up a roster spot. They don't need another.

From Tony Jackson's blog:
First, the rumored offer to Andruw Jones (two years, $32M) is false. It isn't clear whether any offer has been made, but there are strong indications that there hasn't been one. Second, another rumor you might have seen on the web today, that the Dodgers are talking trade with Texas for third baseman Hank Blalock, also is false. Third, I just had my first exposure to new Angels GM Tony Reagins as part of a group of writers brought up to his suite for his nightly press briefing. Man, this guy doesn't say ANYTHING. Except that he is happy with the makeup of the club as it presently stands. Over and over and over again. That's it for now.
According to Dodgers.com, LA Times, and the PE the Dodgers are out of the running for Rowand and Andruw. No offers were made, and Andruw is reported to be looking for a bigger deal than the Angels gave Hunter. While I agree that Jones is a better player than Hunter, Colletti is wise to say no to topping that horrific deal the Angels made. Guess the Angels making a dumb deal did at least screw the Dodgers in a way, so they can be happy about that when Hunter is stealing their money in a couple years.
And if Guillen can get 3 years @ $12 million per from KC, I don't blame Jones for aiming through the roof.
Anyone else hearing rumors that the Dodgers are now looking at the Japanese outfielder Fukudome? It would be an interesting idea to take a chance on Fukudome and the pitcher Kuroda. They can probably be had for shorter-term deals...and we wouldn't have to give up any of the kids. Then we could spin Pierre off for bullpen help, bench help, etc.

Of course, this comes from Ken Rosenthal, so it should be taken with a GIANT grain of salt.
Fukodome sounds interesting. Not a star player but a solid one.

After all that I read this in the LA Times

I am surprised DeWitt is still ranked 5th. I thought his star had fallen quite a bit.
