So wha't the starting rotation looking like this year?

Is Schmidt 100% yet? Will his fastball reach 85 mph this year? Can he adjust his pitching style to compinsate for his loss in velocity? If he can't, it could be a long year.

At this point the rotation will probably be

Penny
Lowe
Billingsley
Kuroda

With Schmidt and Loaiza the two top candidates to fill that 5th spot. Kuo is a wild card/darkhorse

Exactly, he's pretty much dead weight at 3rd base.

3rd base definitely was an issue for Philly last year. I guess he'll give them more power than Dobbs or Helms, but he doesn't seem like much of an upgrade - now they have 3 mediocre 3rd basemen. I assume either Dobbs or Helms will be traded for some pitching help.

He'll probably hit 30 hr's in Philly.....And still suck!

Maybe it just takes these guys six or seven months to go through all the fan mail they get? Oh well. Still waiting on Lowe, Martin, and Saenz (though I doubt I'll get anything from Saenz).

Anyone got to select-a-seat on Saturday? We upgraded to the loge sec, I found out the seats directly behind the plate go for 50k per seat. Maybe next season. LOL
