He's their best chance to improve the roster via trade, but hard to see them trading away one of their two legitimate offensive threats unless they are able to go out and sign another impact bat to fill the void. If they were able to land Fielder, Pujols, or even Beltran then I could see them dealing Ethier, likely for a starting pitcher if Kuroda doesn't come back.

I could live with a year of Rivera, Kemp and Sands in the OF, *IF* the return on Ethier is a young-ish legitimate #2 SP.
