Leaving Martin in the 4 spot, you go Joe Torre. Of course, in the first inning Manny walks and Martin hits a grounder to 3rd to end the inning.
Torre should have given Martin a few more days off this season if he was planning on batting him cleanup in the playoffs. Now the Dodgers have a worn down catcher who can't protect one of the games best hitters. Anybody surprised?
EDIT: Loney, who should be batting cleanup, the leads off with a single in the next inning.
