No, it was a pretty good crowd... I remember we had that issue towards the end of last season with seemingly silent crowds on the broadcast but loud in person.

We got especially loud when they periodically flashed the Dodger score on the jumbotron

If Juan-for-4 Pierre just does what he does best, being Juan-for-4 Pierre, he'd still be hitting better than Kemp.

As far as Bills not retaliating...I can't believe he's catching all the **** he's catching. You don't retaliate like that unless you're ahead...in the game, in the inning, in the count, whatev. To throw at a guy and possibly put him on base when you're down by a bunch of runs, to me, would be kinda stupid. So I think everyone needs to just lay off the guy. I imagine the craziness is more built up by the media than the situation really is, but his teammates should be doing nothing but getting behind the guy and building him up for a good showing in game 5.
A brush back pitch from Billingsley would have been nice.

I agree with you FBJ about Bills, would have been stupid for him to retaliate and risk putting us down by more runs. Kuroda had the perfect opportunity and took care of it.

hey, any of you close to Dodger stadium without tickets, StubHub has some cheap last minute deals. They have two sets of Field box tickets for $29 a ticket, about $40 once you add the fees. Anyhow, I am too far away to make the drive now, but thought I would mention it.

It was pretty loud actually... and surprisingly a full barn (save for the always sparsely populated PR seats).

I don't know how many times you've been to the SC, but last night was horrible. That was by far the quitest crowd ,especially for opening night, since Staples opened, no doubt. It was like they gave a bunch of tickets to the Herbalife people that was happening at the convention center. Like I said before, the only time it got loud was when they showed the Dodger score.

well, the rumor is that it's easier on sinker ballers and sometimes produces better results, so...
