Nothing at all wrong with Scot Shields. He's a great pitcher.
The reason I said that is because it's my understanding that Scot was always untouchable in Stoneman's eyes even when teams were entertaining offers for bats that could have helped bolster the Angel lineup to give Vlad some protection.
Hopefully the Halos will get a bat or 2. Anything will be better than the DHs they have had. I know Colon is off the books at $10mil. Not sure whose contract is also up. But this team needs hitting....
If anyone is interested I have 2 season seats, last year I was in Section 228 Row J. I am hoping to get closer to first base when we can upgrade. If anyone is intersted in buying some tix next year, PM me with your info; tix were $22.50/seat last year. I will know the location & cost of tix in late Feb. I can sell the tix on a game by game basis.
