Great to hear. Now we'll finally get something going.

    LA Times is reporting this

Stoneman, the architect of the lone World Series championship team in club history, is expected to invoke a clause in his contract enabling him to become a team consultant. Tony Reagins, the Angels' director of player development, is expected to replace Stoneman as general manager.
    This is pretty funny though

Reagins, 40, joined the Angels as an intern in 1992 and has run the team's highly regarded minor league system for the last six seasons. He did not play or coach professionally, and his background leans more toward administration than player evaluation, but he could be mentored by Stoneman and veteran assistants Ken Forsch and Gary Sutherland.

Nothing at all wrong with Scot Shields. He's a great pitcher.

The reason I said that is because it's my understanding that Scot was always untouchable in Stoneman's eyes even when teams were entertaining offers for bats that could have helped bolster the Angel lineup to give Vlad some protection.

Yeah so at least next year if anything's going to suck she'll be the catcher.

Hopefully the Halos will get a bat or 2. Anything will be better than the DHs they have had. I know Colon is off the books at $10mil. Not sure whose contract is also up. But this team needs hitting....

If anyone is interested I have 2 season seats, last year I was in Section 228 Row J. I am hoping to get closer to first base when we can upgrade. If anyone is intersted in buying some tix next year, PM me with your info; tix were $22.50/seat last year. I will know the location & cost of tix in late Feb. I can sell the tix on a game by game basis.

    Go KINGS.....

Good news except the new GM never played baeball and has been trained under Bill Stoneman
