"We are going in a different direction next season and will use single announcing teams on TV and radio that will include Rory Markas and Mark Gubicza on Fox Sports West and KCOP and Terry Smith and Jose Mota calling the action on radio (KLAA AM 830). Good riddance. Hudler's idiocy and nonsensical jabbering won't be missed. I would only watch Angels games with the sound off because of him. Now I won't feel like an idiot anymore watching the Angels.

Those of us growing up with Scully and Miller have been spoiled.

While they weren't the best broadcast team in baseball, they'll definitely be missed since it won't be the same without them.

I personally don't think Rory Markas is suited for TV. He just has a better "radio" voice in my opinion. *Shrug*

But as long as the Halos keep winning, I don't care who does the play by play. That's one thing I don't care for too much in baseball since it's a long and slow game.

Seems like they were slowing phasing them out these past two seasons.

No more kiddy/cheesy nicknames for players that end in y or anything that rhymes with "ee." I hated hearing these over the years: Vladi, Erstie, Figgy, Weavy, Frankie, Nappy, Speizie, Izzy... This is coming from a fan of a team where fans refer to their players as Kopi, Brownie, Sully, Army (when they were here), Quicky, etc. You will never see me call them that. Ugh.

Also, Roger Lodge is a douche.
