If the league is allowing the doyers to circumvent the 'interview at least one minority' rule, it seems like another positive sign in the Torre saga.
I don't quite understand how an Italian, like Joe Torre, isn't considered a minority.

Half serious. I think the requirement in and of itself is pointless. I understand that the spirit behind it is trying to promote diversity but you can't force change.
