I make it a point not to read any trade rumors that come from Ken Rosenthal. I feel like he just makes stuff up whenever he wants. This is the same guy that reporter and put up a story on Foxsports that said the Dodgers acquired Tim Hudson a few years ago. But since it's fun to talk about trade rumors I'll post up a response.

With all rent a players I think the chances of re-signing CC would be roughly the same as if we didn't trade for him and tried to sign him in the off-season. Star players whose contracts are up are traded for a reason. They want to test the open market. I don't really buy the whole "inside track" notion.

A trade like this would scream of Colletti trying to save his job. That's basically the bottom line. I could live with giving up McDonald, Hu, and LaRoche(and I'm the biggest LaRoche fan on these boards), but that comes with the caveat that we'd re-sign CC and like I said above that scenario is just as likely if we didn't trade for him. Anyways it might not matter because the Brewers could beat that particular package.

Wilson is what he is. A good glove man with an average bat. A career line of .270/.313/.377 isn't really inspiring. Wilson wouldn't be a bad stop gap at SS, he'd be decent enough to buy some time for Hu/De Jesus. But he's not an impact player and I wouldn't give up any high level prospects for him. If Colletti does, he's an idiot.

Don't hold your breath. Even if the Dodgers offered up a solid package of players(the centerpiece would probably have to be Kemp), I don't think the Rockies would trade Holliday inside the division.

Wow Dodgers are on a roll. Careful, or you might actually reach .500. That isn't allowed in the NL Worst.

Damn, this f'n camera angle again!

I love the color though. If you've never been to AT&T Park at sunset or 1 to 3 hours prior to sunset, it's amazing. And I ****ing hate the Giants so it's something for me to admit. All things considered, that park is damn near perfect.

Quick 2-0 start is nice to see.

Apparently I did not get the memo, can anyone tell what the story is with SF's and LA's hats?

All over Zito like white on rice. Keep it up, Dodgers. Run his ass out early.

What's the problem with the angle? A little too much of an angle for you?
