Here's Bill Shaikin's article over the weekend about Halladay.
He's advocating trading Martin because he's Canadian. What a maroon. I think they add to the core, not subtract from it.
They would probably want Kershaw, Kemp or Ethier. I wouldn't trade any of them. Prospects or draft picks.

Props to the boys in blue! The first half of the season has been amazing to watch and I hope they continue to steam roll to the playoffs.

Billingsley in the game in the 5th. NL up 3-2.
My favorite part so far was McCarver saying the AL has been winning so often recently because of the DH--even when it's not used in NL parks.

Halladay would put this team over the top... but we should not give up any regulars from the lineup or rotation to get him.
Pierre and 2 prospects should do.

I can't possibly imagine any scenario where this will be the best league wide offer on the table for Halladay. Pierre's contract/lack of baseball skill in itself is a huge negative to any proposed deal.
