Wow. I'm so happy I was at that game. The electricity in the 9th was absolutely awesome.
How crazy was that? At the bottom of the eighth I was hoping the Dodgers WOULDN'T get a hit just to make it a story! Sure enough, after the game I switched it to ESPN's Baseball Tonight and they were talking about the game at length. Most coverage I've seen of the Dodgers by ESPN in a long time.
As strange as it was, it still doesn't top the game a few years ago at the Fullerton-Arizona State Super Regional where the Titans won on a balk from the Sun Devil's pitcher while intentionally walking someone to load the bases at the bottom of the ninth.
