Also, stop living in the past. The nasty gimmick ran its course a pretty decent while ago there, homeslice.

Also, I never once suggested or stated that LaRoche was the answer, "my boy," or anything else you'd like to lay claim to (but, however, I do love the overreaction). Merely suggested he deserved a shot at third since DeWitt, after two hundred something at bats, is now OBPing around .320. Reading comprehension. Give 'er a shot!

Edit: I should also add that you suggested DeWitt should not be replaced since he's been one of the most "clutch" players for us "all season." Ok, Joe Morgan. If you really want to stand by that, Juan Pierre has actually been the "most clutch" (.377/.431 with your often used RISP). Sadly, said player is also getting on base at a clip even worse than last year's (and equivalent to DeWitt's, by chance).

Yet LaRoche, despite being more developed than DeWitt, a more highly regarded prospect with a more proven minor league track record (and no comparable amount of major league at bats), can conclusively be claimed to be "crappy." Maybe he won't pan out. But, considering the above, he deserves one in an offense that can't score with a player in his position who isn't hitting a lick at the moment.
