Time to give Ellis a shot. At least on some sort of trial basis.
At least we have Carlos Santana waiting in the wings...
Oh... wait.
btw, Santana in 60 games in AA - .280 / .529 / .411 (10 HR)
We need to stop harping on Carlos Santana. I'm as big a fan of prospects as any and it's getting pretty tired. It sucks he's gone because McCourt was being cheap but it's done now.
Santana is gone, build a bridge and get the **** over it.

anyone going to the game tonight? final game for free parking
Sorry... I wasn't speaking of you personally... "fans" in general. I listen to Dodger Talk and inevitably fans would call in from time to time complaining that Torre wasn't sacrificing enough. Then this week he tried it a couple of times and people called in complaining that it wasn't the right time to sacrifice. It's silly.
He's going to make a bonehead decision from time to time, but yes... I give him a hell of a lot of slack given where the Dodgers are sitting in the standings right now.

Despite a LOT of really poor baserunning, the Dodgers managed to win tonight and take the series from the A's.
Off to Anaslime.
