Gotta love Beckett's reaction to the whole thing. I'm paraphrasing:

"I don't get paid to make those f***ing decisions. She's a friend of mine. Thanks for flying my friend out here to watch the game for free."

Beckett is a beast. Too paid the rest of the starting rotation has been garbage. Maybe "Wayback" Curt Schilling and "Fat Pu$$y Toad Vol. II" can get it done.
