FIVE STRAIGHT WINS!!
JIGGLE TIME, BITCHES!!!
GIVE IT UP, MEN!!
Good to finally get one this season!!
Hitting the best % of the season so far, too. 13 games over .500 is nothing to sneer at.

Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Bullets are cheap. Life is priceless.
****ing Adrian Garcia almost spoke to Matt Kemp in Spanish.
He really has a soft spot for the kids that come through the Dodger system.Originally Posted by TonySCV

I love the guy but I hope he's ready to hang them up after this year. We have better use for ~$12mil/yr. that's for sure. (Of course Kent gets red hot right after I drop him in fantasy with B.J. Upton coming off the DL.)Originally Posted by TonySCV
I'm guessing Abreu and Betemit can fight it out for 2B next year.
10,001 Losses for the Phillies.
Here's to 10,002 and 10,003!
C'mon Lurch!!!!
Also, I can't shake the feeling that at least one of Kemp, Loney or Ethier will be gone come the trade deadline.
I'd like to see Gonzo invited back for another season with Kemp and Ethier in the OF. Too bad we have Pierre for 4 more years (though he has been tolerable recently). I'm not so sure either of your 3 will be dealt. I would guess next years OF is Ethier in LF, Pierre in CF, and Kemp in RF. Loney is going nowhere.
I think the Dodgers will be pretty quiet at the trade deadline and over the offseason. As jb already said play Betemit/Abreu at 2nd next year, Loney is at 1st, Furcal and Nomar have another year on their deals. Take the money from Kent and sign another SP (which will be needed in case Schmidt can't come back and for future seasons without Lowe). Maybe a set up guy if Saito returns to Japan and Broxton starts to close. The position players are pretty much set until 2009 (unless Ned blows up the team at the trade deadline).
