Where's Lindsay Soto when you need her? Or at least send Christine Nubla to Dodger games. Garcia belongs to the Angel games with Jose Mota. They belong together.

Damn I love beating the Braves on TBS.

How pissed was Nomar on that high strike. Nice to a see a little emotion from Mr. Hamm.

Yay! I improved my record to 2-3 and it was an entertaining game. A lot of buzz in the pavilion too, didn't expect it for a Braves game. Some annoying Braves fan (although pretty damn hot) spent the final 3 innings or so puking her guts out.

Man, Lasorda still has an arm! He was tossing out auto'd balls before the game.

    Lurch pitches tonight.

Wonder if they'll leave Betemit in at 3rd and let Nomar play 1st tonight, giving Loney the night off. Loney's been a little quieter lately at the plate. A bit of rest could do him some good.

Default Wolf likely to the DL...

    Dammit all to hell.

Houlton probably starts the first-half finale on Sunday against the Fish, but we haven't been told that yet. ... Dodgers go to 48-36, first time all year they have been 12 over .500, and pull even with the Padres

Wolf said he will have an MRI exam on Thursday and probably a cortisone injection at the top of his shoulder, meaning he's likely headed for the disabled list and a replacement starter definitely is needed for Sunday.

It might be D.J. Houlton, who ended a 1 1/2-year exile in Triple-A this week and immediately moved to the front of the line with three scoreless innings of relief on Tuesday. Houlton, a starter at Las Vegas, restored order after Wolf was charged with six runs and four walks. Even if Houlton starts on Sunday, somebody will need to replace Wolf on the roster and the ranks at Triple-A are thin. Double-A reliever Jonathan Meloan is one possibility.
