Default Los Angeles Dodgers--Official July Thread

We are exactly halfway through the season, 46-36. That is on pace to be 92-72, not bad at all. So we enter a new month at home, a game out of first place.

Once again with the help of the lovely Shakira, we embark upon the all important second half of the season.

    Let's Go Blue!!!!!

Hey IS, there's only 162 games in the regular season.

    Oh, and go Blue!

Hopefully the majority if not all the kids on the Dodgers are still intact at the end of this month.

Buehrle is good but overrated, and will get way more $ than he is worth (just like Zito) this offseason.

For that price, I'll pass. Get a bat.

Agreed. I don't want to see Kemp, Loney, Broxton, or Bills moved. If Colleti can get a young, proven star like a Miguel Cabrera for one of the kids then sure... but he can't. It would be dumb to trade them off for a vet like Dunn or Buehrle.

I'm not opposed to holding on to every prospect because there isn't room for all of them at the major league level. I just don't want a rent-a-vet in return.
