At least Hendrickson wasn't making 8 mil a year. I would have rather the Dodgers drafted Porcello and given him his asking price instead of watching Esteban throw batting practice.

Are the Dodgers getting their own ST facility in Arizona or they will be sharing one with another team next year?

    Fair enough.

At least Loaiza was good at some point in his career though.

ESPN - Dodgers' rotation has the potential to be a definite strength - MLB

Kuroda's a hit... in the team's Idol spoof...

Kuroda dressed up as Elvis Presley, including fake chest hair and fake sideburns. It was, by all accounts, hilarious. And, it appears, it was just another reason for teammates to like him.

"I was doing what all rookies do," Kuroda said. "If teammates take me in for that, that's great. If it continues my communication with the guys … I just want to be one of the guys."

When asked where he got the Elvis costume, Kuroda smiled again and said, "no comment."

I won't buy into Kuroda unless he's still pitching well in September. After all, Ishii looked pretty solid in the first half of his rookie campaign.

Sure as hell hope not. We don't need another scrub third baseman.

    Give Laroche a chance.

Well, Ishii was more luck than anything in his first half. He was getting incredible run support and somehow managing to keep runs off the board despite a 1.55 first half WHIP.
