I'm rooting for Park to win the 5th spot over Loiaza. I just trust him more.

That's my guess at the opening day lineup and 25 man roster, barring anymore injuries.
Torre is known as a manager players love/respect. He didn't get that way by benching vets so early in the season. I think Torre gives the vets a chance early, yes even Pierre and he slowly works them out of the rotation. I'm tired of Pierre in the lineup, but I think in the end Torre will be fielding his best 8 and years in the majors won't be a factor. BUT in the beginning of the year, I think Torre starts Pierre and probably would have started Nomar.
Anyways for the 25th spot I wasn't sure whether to go with Repko or another pitcher(Brazoban?). I went with Repko because Young is really just a stick off the bench and Ethier is a decent but not great OF. Repko makes more sense as a defensive replacement late in addition to bringing some speed to the bench. I was tempted to have Hu on the roster, but I figure the Dodgers will want him seeing ABs in Vegas.
My guess for the lineup is:
1. Pierre
2. Furcal
3. Martin
4. Kent
5. Andruw
6. Loney
7. Kemp
8. Nomar
Torre seems quite fond of Pierre as a leadoff guy, and I think that as long as he's healthy Kent still keeps the cleanup spot.
1-Furcal
2-Martin
3-Kemp
4-Jones
5-Loney
6-Pierre
7-Kent
8-Nomar
9-Pitcher
This lineup is pretty hard to juggle. ****ING PIERRE!
I guess we can only hope that Pierre plays himself out of the line-up. (we would also need Ethier and Kemp to excel every day)
Trying to guess what Torre goes with...
Regular Lineup:
LF - Pierre
SS - Furcal
C - Martin
2B - Kent
CF - Jones
1B - Loney
RF - Kemp
3B - Nomar
Starting rotation:
Penny
Lowe
Billingsley
Kuroda
Park/Kuo (can't decide...)
Pen:
Saito
Broxton
Beimel
Loaiza
Myers
Proctor
Seanz
Bench:
Bennett
D. Young
Hu
Ethier
Sweeney
This is my best Torre guess. I'm picking Hu over Abreu right now because Abreu has been injured and Torre has barely seen him play. Either way, LaRoche probably takes that spot in June after a rehab stint in AAA.
I'm also thinking the if Kuo stays healthy the rest of the spring, he could get the nod at the 5th spot simply because he's a lefty. I can see Chan Ho stealing a bullpen spot away from Seanz in that case. Letting Rudy retire isn't a big risk for the Dodgers who can also see Brazoban or Meloan coming up mid season to fill that bullpen slot if Chan Ho or Kuo falter.
Like I sad...just a guess.
Today's actual lineup(As in the lineup for today's preseason game)
Pierre can suck it.Pierre, LF
Furcal, SS
Loney, 1B
Martin, C
Ethier, RF
Young, 2B
Repko, CF
DeWitt, 3B
Lowe, P
Here's to Repko going yard again today
Sell Pierre to some team in Japan or Korea. **** him.
They should pull the same prank on Pierre that they did in Philly.
But at the end of it, Pierre thinks he's smart and says, "oh you're doing the that prank they did in Philly!" But then Yhency Brazoban goes, "Nah dawg, this time, it's for reals. We traded you to the Giants."
And then Pierre goes, "Oh ****! I thought you guys traded me to ****ing Japan! I was about to **** someone up, like Jay-Z used to do when he dealt crack in Brooklyn."
And then someone like...I don't know, probably Mark Sweeney goes, "...Not THOSE Giants."
Nasty.
