Gotta love when the Dodgers use their JV team to beat the Padres varsity team
Anyone who's a historical stat junkie know if anyone else (starting pitcher-wise) has gotten to five wins any faster in a Dodger uni than Bills has this year? I imagine there's gotta be a couple as fast or faster. Wonder who in Dodgers past was quickest to 10 wins in a season?
Man I hope Billingsley can keep rolling.
BTW, I just realized that Bills has more wins as a Dodger than Honeycutt does, and he did it in less than half the games.
Those who can't, coach.
Heh. Back-to-back for Manny and Ethier. Dodgers up 2-0 already.
****ing Dbags and their triple play. ****ers. Figures Casey Blake decides not to strike out and instead he hits into a triple play.
Ouch... that was disappointing.
I'll admit, it was cool to see a triple play in person. Obviously not the greatest picture of all time, but the recipe for disaster is spelled out clearly here. No outs, double steal, line drive to short (can see the little blur that is the ball to the left of pitcher's mound). Casey... no:
At least it didn't cost us the game.
11-0 at home! :w00t:
BEST TEAM IN BASEBALL!
