I was wondering how long it's been since the Dodgers were 11 games over .500 - to my surprise it wasn't that long ago.
"The Dodgers now have the best record in baseball at 19-8, their best start to this point since 1983, the largest current lead in baseball at 5 1/2 games, the organization's largest lead since 2004 and they are 11 games above .500 for the first time since 2007. "

This part of the article was a bit of a stretch: "The only disclaimer: The Dodgers haven't played a team that currently has a record above .500. Not a one. That includes a stunning 18-6 record against the NL West and 3-1 against Arizona. "
Part of the reason no team that's played the Dodgers has a current record above .500 is because -- they've all played the Dodgers! The Dodgers have only played THREE games against non-division teams so far.

They're gonna need to do something about the pitching staff though once we do start playing playoff caliber teams. So, Pedro. Just ****in do it.
Also, not sure what his deal is injury-wise at the moment, but Ben Sheets is also a free agent.
He was about to sign with the Rangers but then he needed elbow surgery. I believe he is rehabbing now.

Jeff Weaver tonight. There's a throwback, lol.
Anything worth shooting is worth shooting twice. Bullets are cheap. Life is priceless.
nice outing by Weaver, just what the Dodgers needed.
