Thread: Mike Piazza Retires

From the quotes in the story, it sounds like he's planning on going to the HOF as a Met.

Is it safe to say that he hates The Dodgers? I don't blame him.

He was the reason I took baseball seriously and played it until I graduated High School. Given the fact that we have the same name and he was the star player on my favorite baseball team, it was pretty obvious who made the biggest first impression on me, baseball-wise, as a kid.

Not a bad career for a 62nd round draft pick.

Certainly added to it. Anyway, don't question the logic of a 7 year old...there is none.

I loved Jordan at that age too.

Hard to believe he spent more time in a Met uniform than a Dodger uniform.
