Milton Bradley takes out himself and Cameron
Milton Bradley is done for the season, Mike Cameron might not be in much better shape and the livid San Diego Padres tried to regroup Monday from a bizarre chain of events that left their outfield depleted with a week to go in the season.
Bradley will miss the rest of the year with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. He was injured when his own manager spun him to the ground while trying to keep him from going after umpire Mike Winters during an eighth-inning confrontation in Sunday's 7-3 loss to Colorado at Petco Park.
Bradley is a jackass, always has been, always will be. A perfect example of what is wrong with sports. He blames the ump for him getting hurt when we cant contain HIMSELF. At what point in time does this jackass become man and own up for his own ****-up?

I agree Bradleys a jackass BUT from everything I have seen heard and read the ump was baiting him in a bad way. If you heard the 1st base coaches quote about the worst thing I have ever heard a umpire say in 25years, it had to be bad. That doesn't justify what Bradley did but the umps need to step back and realize they are NOT part of the game, we do NOT go to see them and frankly could care less of who they are. Just up and do your job,no need to even talk to the players.
In the last 15-20 years they have tried to becomea revelant part of the game, now they have succeeded, I hope the ump if fired and never returns to the big league, send him to single A and let him work.

Not that I'm any kind of prophet or anything, because this was a rather easy one to see coming, but here is what I posted three weeks ago today.

The ump that instigated the incident has been suspended for the rest of the season.
