The grenade toss was the funniest thing I'd every seen by anyone getting thrown out of a game. All-time classic moment!

What a ****ing clown. I've never understood why a manager has carte blanche to stay out there for that long and act the fool. Any other sport and the guy would be suspended or ****canned for acting like that.

While out enjoying a post Ottawa-victory frosty beverage on Saturday night, I saw this all over the sports channels but couldn't tell if it was the majors or not. Although I don't much care for manager tirades (a la Lou Pinella), I think they've gotten rather old. But I must admit that I found the grenade act damn funny! I was wondering what he was doing with the low crawl and looking like he was sneaking up on the rosin bag. But once he grabbed it, "pulled the pin", and lobbed it... too damn funny!

I wonder...did he ever happen to either play or coach for Earl Weaver???

On second thought...and after seeing the video again...Earl would have thrown both bases in the stands before he left...
