What a difference a year makes, huh?

I thought for sure Phil Nevin would be on that report. Hate to bag on a fellow Titan, but his numbers, especially his home runs, sure exploded when he was with San Diego.

Did anyone see it coming? I don't recall hearing any jeers when he re-signed, only at the fact that it was 2 years and not 1.

It was more of a desperation thing because Drew had just opted out. We all thought he was gone after 2006.

I don't mind that he's on the team this year because he's a likable guy for the fans, but being the starter at 3B should not be a foregone conclusion.
