Was it Wright's fault the Mets tanked in Sept? I don't know. I didn't see any of their games. But blowing a big lead like that is sure hard to ignore. And giving an MVP award to somebody on that team is unheard of, especially if there are other players out there who had better stats.Quote:

I'm guessing that is what the voters would do. I don't think it would be fair to use where he played as an excuse to not give him the award. With that reasoning, nobody would ever win an award in Colorado, unless it was the Cy Young.
Wright won the Silver Slugger and Gold Glove because he deserved them. Holliday deserves the MVP.
