Wishful thinking. Chalk this up to "working out the kinks." Kazmir has been throwing AA material... Takahashi has done nothing but put the Halos in bad situations in every game he's seen the mound. Jepsen got out of a jam for the first time this year, but not before giving minor heart attacks to halo fans everywhere. And Rodney... oh my. Walden has been the lone bright spot in the pen.

Yes I agree on Walden being the only good thing about the BP in the first 4 games. I can't wait to see Downs come off the IR in the near future. I'm hoping he will bring a lot of talent and needed outs for the Angels.
I'm not happy because the Halos won their opener and then the **** hit the fan afterward. Just like this new season too

The Texas Rangers have already won the division. All they have to do is show up to their games.

If there is any team you'd want to face with a bullpen like this, it is Tampa right now. They have no offense without Longoria. Hopefully they are what the Halos need to get back on track.

Well some good news for the Halos today. Rodney is no longer our closer, and TB is on the ropes down 4 runs in the 8th. 5-1 Angels!
Walden in, Rodney out as closer
P.S. Nm, Kohn just gave up a 2 run homer...5-3 Angels. BP sucks AGAIN

2 run lead, odds there is a walk this inning = 100%

Nope. Walden seals the deal as a good closer SHOULD!!! I'm glad Rodney is out of the picture and allow this kid to gain good exp on the mound. Btw, I really liked Walden last season when he was called up. NO idea why Mike S never changed closers last year. The Halos' record would had been much better if he did.

This team is going to look different when Downs and Morales come back. I still think the Texas Rangers already have this one in the bag though.

I'm not so sold on Texas. We'll see how their inexperienced starters handle the long summer heat in Texas. They definitely have the offense to back them up, but as we've seen from them in the past, offense can't carry you all the way. I think the Halos can contend as long as the bullpen can get their act together and if they can hang with them over the first couple of months.
