if Trout is half the player that Salmon was, the Angels should draft as many players as they can that are associated with fish.

Angels option catcher Hank Conger to triple-A Salt Lake to clear roster spot for RHP Tyler Chatwood, who will start against the Rangers tonight.

    MLB.com Gameday | angels.com: Gameday

    ...

    Worth noting
    • Texas' 11-game win streak is the longest in the Majors this year.

    • Thirty of the last 42 games between the Rangers and Angels have been decided by three runs or fewer.

    • The Angels and Rangers enter the series having split their six previous meetings this season, all of which were played in Texas.

    • After beginning the season just 15-20 at home, the Angels went 11-2 on a 13-game homestand before the All-Star break.

All-Star break came at the worst possible time for our Halos. It didn't seem to effect Texas though..

While it seems like most of you are allergic to the "like" button, I just want to personally say thanks for looking anyway.

I think they are still running the trap :(
Seriously, I'm surprised they ever score.

    1 player hitting over .290 (kendrick .294)
    1 player with .800 ops (kendrick .802)

a tale of 2 players: ab, hr, avg, obp, slg, ops
    Player 1 - 271 14 .218 .248 .406 .654
    Player 2 - 154 7 .214 .297 .357 .654

One of these players just got designated for assignment.
The other is making $26M this year, and $24M each of the next 3.

I wouldn't be to worried yet, the Rangers are just on a big win streak, they've won 12 in a row and the Angels are still only 5 back.

The Rangers are going to cool off and the Angels should heat up but with that being said the Angels need to win the next 2
