    I am happy they are going to have Retro Fridays this season, I love this design they wore from 71-72 with the little a on the cap:

    Scioscia got tossed today in a spring training game, he had a legit gripe a run didn't cross before the 3rd out. A minor league ump tossed him, and the Rockies crew calling the game couldn't believe it either.

    His primary replacement at first base will be Mark Trumbo, who has had a brilliant spring and is bouncing back from groin tightness. Trumbo returned on Tuesday after sitting for four days and had one at-bat before rain canceled a game against the Cubs
    I'm looking forward to Trumbo at first base myself.

    With good reason, I HATED that jersey. They ruined a good design in the retro looking 93-96 CA unis for that flying A crap.

    I identify with the middle uniform, since those were the days of Bobby Grich, Fred Lynn, Brian Downing (one of my first Baseball Idols) and my sister in-laws brother and when it wasn't about Dodgers vs Angels you could root for both without all the hate spewed between the two, fond memories.

    It's opening week and baseball is about to return!

    Lookies here and I can't wait to see what Mark Trumbo brings to the Angels this season!

    Trumbo, Haren carry the day at Big A

    Good to see the Angels back at the Big A indeed. TooCool, you will need to fill us in at the home opener next week. Like I told you at the Kings game, I will be at the Duck Roast, and will miss out on the opener. Maybe I can get in after the hockey game is over haha.

    Nah, my friends won't be down for that...oh they have a nice giveaway too! The 50th T-Shirt which I would love to have myself.

    No surprise Weaver will be starting on opening day for the Angels.
