It is the hole that the angels lineup has had for awhile, lefty bat. it's a better gamble than the pujols contract. But then, it's not my money.

Of course the Angels are going to trade for another starting pitcher. It'll be Bourjos and a prospect going for that pitcher. And relax haters, it's only December. April is still 3 1/2 months away.

While that may be true, look at our starters last year. Weaver, Wilson, Haren, Greinke, Santana and look what happened. The bullpen ****ed up 50% of those games and the hitters about 30% of them.

I did want to keep Greinke, but not for the absurd contract the Dodgers offered him.

Either way, I'm sure Dipoto is nowhere near finished. Can't wait to see what happens next.

We needed a cleanup batter after Pujols. Our biggest weakness is probably starting pitching now, only down to Weaver and Wilson... =\ They added some bullpen help but I think it's still weak. It's all about the offensive game.

Trumbo isn't going anywhere. If anyone is trade bait, it's probably Peter Bourjos (though they say they want to give him a full year in the OF).

I'd keep Trumbo over Morales. Jerry Dipoto would be stupid to trade him
