I'm sure that will help.

Can't we boo Scioscia instead?

The bleeding won't stop anytime soon it seems. Angels lose again

It is almost comical how bad this bullpen is. Absolute garbage. No lead is safe.

19 innings. Wow. Stupid team. Hamilton with a sexy 0-8 night.

Yeah, the only thing harder to watch than 1 Angel game is the equivalent of 2. The players just look dejected. Their body language during the games is that of a defeated team. I love Scioscia and I appreciate all he's done for the franchise. I really wanted the team to turn this around for him, but I don't know how much longer this can go on before they let him go. They need some sort of a change now before this season gets away and they waste more of Arte's money.

You know I really don't think Arte's cares about winning. I think he only cares about filling the stands with bodies every game. You can tell because the GM's only sign big talent, and never address the team's key issues and needs

Watch what happens to attendance if this team continues to miss the playoffs for a couple more years. Those long term deals are going to be harder to swallow when they aren't filling the seats. I feel like Arte knows this though. I truly don't believe he's allowing these signings just for the purpose of putting butts in the seats. They are signing guys that should be helping this team improve. The injuries this year aren't helping either. Weaver being out really hurts a rotation that already lacked depth, and Burnett and Madson were supposed to anchor the bullpen, and they've both been out. One of the biggest issues though is they are signing these big sluggers, and that doesn't really fit into the way Scioscia manages. He's more about speed and small ball, and I think he's gotten away from that having this big power lineup now.

Hopefully they can use a new month as a fresh start and get this turned around before it's too late. Oh, and I wouldn't mind seeing Butcher get the ax. Seems like pitchers come to the Angels and really underacheive. Especially the relievers. That needs to be addressed.

You make very good points, HockeyMariner! And this team keeps losing and losing. Your point about the way Scioscia manages is something I have noticed for years. He can't adjust to the team's weakness or change the system to get the most out of the players. Other words...when will they be getting rid of Scioscia?!?!? It's LONG over due now, and maybe the bleeding will stop a bit after he is gone
